Major Cinderella story transpiring in Denver over the last few days as Chris Reed, the UK dubstep/grime pioneer known to most as Plastician had struggled to find a location for his displaced event after being cancelled last minute at the 1UP.
Despite the untimely snub from the 1UP, Club Vinyl has welcomed Plastician with open arms, reinstating the show for tonight. In addition, those following the debacle on Plastician’s socials are lucky enough to score free tickets at the producers behest before sales shut down at 8pm tonight. Otherwise, tickets may be purchased at the door for a nominal fee ($10).
Doors at Vinyl open at 9pm for the opening set by one Gunkst, a member of Plastician’s renowned Terrorhythm label crew. Plastician will take assume the decks from 11pm for almost three hours, one of his longest sets to date. With all the extenuating circumstances surrounding this event, it’s nothing short of miraculous that it’s even going to happen, let alone at no cost to patrons. Don’t miss the opportunity Denver.
Check out this classic Plastician set from Boiler Room London and get set for a special evening.
