What We Do

While text has always contained internal reference outside itself, those linkages were physically closed, and featured no reference outside their pages. Electricept, and other hypertexts, are user-interactive formats that push the boundaries of not only how, but how much people can learn about the music- through our integration with the technology we’re using to create and consume music, we also comment, link, and extend the discourse beyond the artifacts with internal and external references.

We despise the term blog, we’d much rather journal. Electricept, unlike many others, does not copy/paste hypertext from press releases or contribute to a chorus of redundant echoes in a closed chamber of resounding voices.  We’d like to be a producer’s blog but moreover, a layman’s blog, anyone can come, read and learn about music through watching, listening, and following linkages in hypertext.
